Design Services

Please find to follow the three levels of Design and Project management services which we are able to offer you.

1. DESIGN

We are able to provide you with a design concept and detailed plans which would include:

  • Sample board (designer mood board) to illustrate all elements of new scheme
  • Colour scheme to include wallpapers, paints and alternative wall coverings
  • Detailed furniture layout plans
  • Hand drawn scale drawings and/or 3D imagery
  • Window dressing designs
  • Furniture specifications
  • Electrical appliance options
  • Lighting specifications
  • Flooring specifications

This will enable you and your contractors to refer to our designs and specifications for reference and guidance; giving you the freedom to use your own tradesman, suppliers and fitters to complete the work within the boundaries of your time scales and budget.

2. DESIGN AND SUPPLY

Once our designs/schemes have been approved and signed off by you, we are able to provide a detailed specification list and estimates of all fixtures, fittings and schemes that have been specified in our design. We can also arrange for all products to be delivered to you on site for your own tradesmen/builders to install.

We are more than happy to liaise with any of your current supplies, (i.e. kitchen, bathroom or building suppliers) on your behalf, to ensure you benefit from any trading terms or discounts you may already have in place.

Charlie Langley Interior Designs holds trade accounts with many of the major building suppliers and would be happy to obtain estimates and quotations for the supply of any goods specified in our design if you do not already have a preferred supplier you wish us to use.

Design fee +15% of total cost of order (Please note we are able to pass on a selection of our trading discounts and terms)

Potential suppliers may need to make site visits in order to provide you with their quotations. In order to save you time, but more importantly, to ensure all supplies are provided with the correct and accurate information we are able to accompany these site visits to obtain and present all estimates and quotations to you.

Site visits: £35.00 per hour

3. FULL PROJECT MANAGEMENT

We are able to implement our schemes and oversee all works relating to our approved design. We are able to take the project from concept stage through to completion ensuring the project is finished on time, within budget and carried out to the highest standards possible.

We have an extensive list of highly recommend trades people who we use to complete our designs. They include:

  • Kitchen fitters
  • Decorators
  • Flooring Specialists
  • Bathroom fitters
  • Electricians
  • Lighting Specialists
  • Carpenters
  • Furniture makers
  • Curtain Makers
  • Builders
  • Plasterers

DESIGN FEE + 15% of total project cost.

If you prefer to employ any of the above services on an hourly basis my standard rate is £35.00 per hour with a minimum of 8 hours contracted.

A deposit of £200.00 is required to confirm commitment of the use of any the above services and is redeemable against any services or materials ordered.
